City of MontelloPlan Commission MeetingTuesday, August 24, 2021 Meeting called to order at 6:30pmMembers present: Ken Streich, Ron Knutson, ThorneWhitstruck, Jim HoudekMembers absent: Gary Doudna, John HoffmannOthers present: Cheryl Husar, Mike Kohnke Public hearing opened at 6:30pm for Conditional Userequest for property located at540 Lake Avenue for short term rental.Cheryl Husar explained it would be a maximum allowablecapacity of 6, but she prefersto keep it to 4, and a maximum of 3 vehicles all tobe parked on her driveway.No committee members have received any comments fromany neighboring propertyowners, nor have any appeared at the public hearings.Houdek made a motion to approve a conditional usepermit for 540 Lake Ave to be usedas a short term rental, seconded by Streich. Motioncarried unanimously. Motion by Knutson to adjourn, second by Streich, motioncarried.Meeting adjourned at 6:35pm Minutes by Houdek
