REGULAR MEETING MINUTES VILLAGE OF STOCKHOLM BOARD OF TRUSTEES SEPT 9, 2025 at 6:00 PM The meeting was called to order by President Dennis Riechert at 6:05 Roll Call: Dennis Riechert, Matt Anderson, Jerry Larson, Scott Krause, Adam Peterson absent. Poem was read by John Graber: A Johnny Cash Original Clerk’s Report: Jerry made a motion to approve the August minutes seconded by Matt all were in favor. Treasurer report- A error on the July treasurers report was found and corrected. Scott made a motion to approve the August treasurers report seconded by Matt all were in favor. Park Committee Report: YTD revenue $28,910.00, The boat launch ordinance was discuss, the committee chose not to charge for boat parking, they will instead designate an area for boat parking, Dave and Deb Aune were thanked for the painting done on the playground equipment and trees placed at the playground and near the flagpole, Pepin county completed a random inspection of the park no violations, water samples were taken, In an attempt to reduce speeding in the park more speed bumps will be added, in the future Park meeting minutes will be published separately to encourage more public engagement, The end of season closing will be happening mid-October, Dan Prokosh will move the picnic tables, Park committee members will take care of the rest. Next meeting October 2, 2025, Matt made a motion to approve the park committee report seconded by Scott all were in favor. Cemetery Committee Report: Lyn is working with the Bignell family to get their cemetery needs met. Citizen concerns: Speeding though the Village- Dennis is talking with the State to explore options. VOS Board Comments: no comments Business: 1. Tree Trimming and removal throughout the Village-Board approved the services from Out on a Limb Tree service. 2. Quit Claim deed Wollschlager update: Final reviews and details are in the works at this time 3. Drainage Ditch- recent rains clean out the drainage ditch. 4. Light Pole repairs update-Dennis will make an effort to reach out to Dan Prokosch for an update. 5. Budget preparation meeting/regular board meeting date and time- October 14,2025 Budget preparation @ 5 PM with regular meeting at 6 PM 6.
