Approved Minutes Town of Durand Regular Board Meeting July 14th, 2026 at 5:00pm Call to Order By Chairman Andy Winkler at 5:10pm Roll Call Chairman Andy Winkler, Supervisor I Mark Weiss, Supervisor II John Wayne, Treasurer Audrey Bauer and Clerk Brittany Myers, 5 present Pledge of Allegiance Everyone stood together for the Pledge of Allegiance Approval of June 17th, 2026 Board Meeting Minutes Minutes of the June 17th, 2026 Regular Board Meeting were read. Motion made by John Wayne and seconded by Mark Weiss to approve minutes. All in favor-3, opposed-0, motion carried. Treasurer’s Report The June Treasurer’s report was presented to the Board by Treasurer Audrey Bauer. Balance on hand as of June 30th, 2026, was $86,425.98. Payment of Vouchers Vouchers presented to the Board for payment by Clerk Brittany Myers, totaled $6,483.76. Motion made by Mark Weiss and seconded by Andy Winkler for Clerk Brittany Myers to pay vouchers. All in favor-3, opposed-0, motion carried. Chairman’s Reports Chairman Andy Winkler gave an update on the Dorwins Mill Bridge, Cedar Corp monthly report and Steinmeyer Inspector Report. Public Comments N/A 2026 Seal Coating Chairman Andy Winkler talked through which roads need seal coating and keeping up with road maintenance. Roughly $17,000 for the Rustad Lane for sealing coating that hasn’t been done in 7 years and Vradenberg which would be roughly $16,000 for sealing coding, this road has not been touched in 4 years as well. Mark Weiss made a motion to seal coat both roads this year and John Wayne seconded. All in favor-3, opposed-0, motion carried. Clerk Laptop Purchase Clerk presented two different estimates on a new laptop for the Town of Durand. John Wayne made a motion for a limit of $2,000 for a new laptop and Mark Weiss seconded. All in favor-3, opposed-0, motion carried. Dorwin’s Mill Bridge The timeline of the Dorwin’s Mill Bridge, should be completed by the end of the month and the total cost came close to budget. Durand Fire District Meetings Next meeting will take place in Augst Historical Records Matt Sam and the historical center is working through the documents and will give us an update once they have went through it all. WTA Unit Meetings No new update Future Agenda Items and Meeting Date The next regular monthly board meeting will take place on Wednesday August 12th, 2026 at 6:00pm.
