1 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS April 14 , 2026 The Amery Public Safety Committee met on April 14 , 2026 , at the Amery City Center . The meeting was called to order at 4: 00 p. m . Present: Members Mike Manor, Roger Van Someren (@ 4:03pm) and Eric Elkin . Others Present: City Administrator Alex Mansfield , Clerk-Treasurer Taylor Larson , Police Chief, Dan Peters ; Mayor, Rick Van Blaricom, Jason Bottolfson , and Alderperson Adam Honl . Motion by Manor ; seconded by Elkin to accept the agenda as presented. Ayes – 2 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 1. Police Department Policy Update and Review – Chief Peters provided an update on the Police Department ’s Policies. 131 policies are currently out for review by the officers. Chief Peters is hoping to have all policy in place by the end of May. One policy Chief Peters needed feedback on was the Department Review Board Policy. The committee discussed and determined they would like the Public Safety Committee to serve as the review board if an issue is brought forward.
