For additional information or to request this service, contact the Clerk -Treasurer’s office at (715) 268-7486 by Noon the previous day so that arrangements can be made. 1 JOINT FIRE COMMITTEE February 09, 2026 A meeting of the Joint Fire Committee met at the Amery City Center on: February 09, 2026 @ 5:00 p.m. Present: Supervisor Alan Carlson – Town of Lincoln; Town Chair, Keith Karpenski – Town of Alden, Town Chair, Erik Henningsgard – Town of Black Brook, Alderperson Roger Van Someren – City of Amery and Fire Chief, Chuck Frohn. Others Present: Clerk-Treasurer, Taylor Larson and City Administrator, Alex Mansfield Motion by Karpenski; seconded by Carlson to adopt the agenda as present. Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion Carried. 1. Approval of Minutes from December 1, 2025 – The committee reviewed the minutes from the last meeting. Motion by Carlson, seconded by Karpenski; to approve the minutes as written. Ayes – 3 Nays – 0 Abstain – 1 Motion Carried. 2. Chief’s Report – Chief Frohn presented to the committee updates about the department and run numbers. The committee members asked clarify questions about the report. 3. Fire Department Bylaws – Administrator Mansfield presented the updated proposed bylaws for the Fire Department. The bylaws were put together by Mansfield, Chief Frohn, and members of the Fire Department in leadership positions. The Fire Department voted to accept the Bylaws 24-2. The committee discussed the bylaws and found them agreeable. Motion by Carlson, seconded by Van Someren, to recommend the bylaws to the City Council for final approval. Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion Carried. Motion by Karpenski; seconded by Carlson to adjourn at 6:00pm. Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion Carried.
