December 2021 Minutes

Clear Lake Civic and Commerce aka Clear Lake Community Club Meeting Date December 13th, 2021 Members Present: Amy Strobach, Tanya Jo Roth, Cindy Soderberg by phone, Lisa & Ture Duden, Dave Jurisch. The meeting was called to order by Tanya. Secretary’s Report: The minutes from the November were unavailable. Treasurer’s Report: The report was reviewed. Lisa made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report, seconded by Dave, motion carried. Old Business: Santa Day Update: Steady flow to see Santa. Amy will have final numbers at the next meeting. There were 5 entries for the Chili Cook-off. $50 prize for the winner. Lucky’s paid for all the supplies, no money our for the Club. Donations for Santa and Chili were $69. Lisa made a motion to donate $150 to Christmas for Children, seconded by Cindy, motion carried. Fireworks: Ready to go. Adding fire balls to the show for an added $300. No food or fire pit. The CL Court will have donation cans. Sponsorship letters are ready, Stephanie will email to officers for final review. Light Up the Village Update: There were 6 houses and 3-4 businesses. Clear Lake Days Update: Band ideas anyone? KarJackers will play on Friday and Friday night as well as Saturday until parade. Need a band for Saturday night. Some businesses are showing interest in events. We need to find someone for marketing and  communication to businesses. New Business: Election of Officers will be held at our next meeting. Budgets for 2022 will be sent out prior to next meeting for review. Amy will talk with Joey Monson Lillie about her offer of a donation in the form of photos and copyrights for the Clear Lake Court Cindy made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ray.
