September 2016 Meeting

Clear Lake Community Club Meeting Minutes September 12th, 2016 Meeting called to order at 7:00pm. Minutes read and approved. No treasurers report. 6 members present. Recapped Clear Lake Days. Discussion held on what worked and what needs improvements. Discussion held on website. Getting charged for email questions about site from JJ Web. Discussion held on potential fundraisers. Community Theater has play in October and November could have a dinner served by Community Club. Royalty/Float update: Leona Voss is purchasing the shiny shag that goes around the bottom of the float; feels it needs to look better. Also wants to redo float this winter for stability. Discussion held on where else we could store the float giving us more room and some storage area. Tonya Jo Roth offered her garage. Also Community Club owns and stores the wagon/tent/parade stage. Where is that being stored? Is there somewhere cheaper? Laura Andersen will ask Nextgen and the School. Meeting adjourned at 8:00pm. Next meeting October 10th need more people in attendance.
