5. Program/Site Repor ts
a. Brantwood : Reported overall, the meals are good and noted that the recent meal featuring
pork loin and apple crisp was delicious. Request for chocolate milk more often please.
Commented there was too much fruit cocktail; the broccoli needs flavor/seasoning ; and the
stuffed green peppers meal was not popular. Personally noted that meals with high
carbohydrates such as casseroles, pasta salad , and potatoes, are not desirable.
b. Kennan : Meals have been really good overall lately. Some diners enjoyed the breakfast
casserole while others did not. Request please for riper fresh fruit and chocolate milk. Do not
like fruit cocktail or overripe bananas. The pork chops were tough.
c. Ogema : Thankful to have increased amounts of vegetables in the meals. Requesting more
chocolate milk please. A couple of people have concerns about lacking protein content in
casseroles and the pot pies.
d. Park Falls : Reported senior diners are happy with the meals and they are very good and very
affordable. Requesting canned fruit in place of apples and pears for ease of chewing, please
no syrup. Also requesting that beef and chicken be rotated frequently, and not too many
chicken meals in a row. Commented meals provide plenty of meat/protein, plenty of gravy, and
enough food. Shared a trick to keep pork tender: keep a pan of water in the oven while warming
the meat to keep it moist.
e. Phillips : Reported diners are very happy with the meals overall. Requesting more pies or
chocolate, and to serve roast pork loins in one thick slice instead of two thin slices to keep
them tender and juicy .
