Town of Stockton Board Meeting
Monday, June 10th, 2024 @ 6:30 PM
Town Hall, 7252 6th St, Custer, WI 54423
1. Call to Order by Chairman Mike Bronk at 6:30pm. Supervisor Terry Johnson, Supervisor Jeanne Dodge and Clerk
Jennifer Zurawski were all present. Treasurer Sandra Walters was excused. There were no members of the
public present.
2. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve Agenda for Monday, June 10th, 2024. Motion carried 3-0.
3. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve minutes for the Town Board Meeting of May 13th, 2024. Motion carried 3-
0.
4. Motion (Dodge/Johnson) to approve minutes for the Town Board Meeting on June 4th, 2024. Motion carried 3-0.
5. Anyone wishing to Address the Board – No comment
6. Operator’s License/Retailer License - Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve all applicants related to Class “A”
Retail Licenses, Combination Class “B” Retail Licenses, Cigarette and Tobacco Products Retail License, and all
Operator’s Licenses on the list presented. Motion carried 3-0.
7. April Treasurer’s Report – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented by the clerk
in the Treasurer’s Walters absence. Motion carried 3-0.
8. Public Works Update – Chairman Bronk stated the road crew has been crack filling Lovers Lane and Moraine
Valley in preparation to chip seal those roads by Scotts Construction. Scotts plans to be in the township to do
this work at the end of June or first week in July. The road crew has also started cutting grass along the sides of
the roads around the town.
9. Bills/Checks/Void Checks to Approve – Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to approve checks 43877-43918 and ACH
Transfers 201196-201201. Motion carried 3-0.
10. Clerk’s Report – Clerk Zurawski has been busy working on getting all the DOR reports done. Zurawski stated she
had attended the DOR Webinar last week to go over these reports that were approaching the deadline. Clerk
Zurawski stated she received a Community Outdoor Input survey that could lead to state funding and asked the
board to fill it out. Community Members are also welcome to fill out this survey if interested. Clerk Zurawski
reported that ES & S will be here tomorrow to check our election equipment for our annual maintenance
agreement. Zurawski also stated that she had a meeting tomorrow with Rural Insurance to go over our
coverages.
11. Correspondence – No comment
12. Motion (Johnson/Dodge) to adjourn the meeting at 6:49pm. Motion carried 3-0.
